Repairs period to your new home

Your new home is covered by a 12-month building warranty. During this time repairs to your home will be carried out under this warranty. Any repairs or defects within this period should be reported to Chapter Homes via the repairs team at Tolent Living on tel: 0333 101 4065.

Any issues reported to Tolent Living may be passed to a relevant third party contractor for action along with your contact details. The third party will be in touch with you to make the relevant access arrangements.

If you do not wish for your details to be passed on to a third party, please advise us of this.

Items reported to Tolent Living will be appointed in normal working hours, we will action every item as quickly as possible.

You may wish to report non-urgent items together to minimize disruption.

Chapter Homes are a housing developer and we work with Urban Base as our sales agent.  They have a vast experience in housing which means we can offer you a better service.

It will depend on what you want to do.  We have a fantastic range of options that you can pick from for kitchen and bathroom options, many included at no additional cost.  Other changes can be undertaken, speak to our sales staff to see what is possible.

Yes, we work with an external firm for our part exchange offer.  If you are interested please speak to a member of the Sales Team.

We understand how exciting it is buying a home and that you want to visit and see how it is progressing.  Whilst the construction is underway it’s obviously not safe for you to go into the property but you can, from a safe distance, check on how the build is progressing.  Once it’s almost ready you will be invited to look around your property.

We are always looking to develop new sites where there is demand for our homes.  New sites will be posted on our development page and on Facebook.

An early bird reservation is basically putting your finger on a plot and saying "I want that one".  You pay a £99 early bird reservation that means when you get first option to buy that property when it is released for sale.  We can take up to three early bird reservations per plot, the second and third reservations will be offered the property in turn should the first place not be in a position to move.  This £99 is refundable.

A reservation is a firm hold on the property and costs £299.  This money is NOT Refundable.  The reservation means that you are planning on buying the home, and there is only one reservation per property.
